Heat pumps without losing half your house.
Greener Pod is a factory-built heating hub that houses your hot water cylinder, hydraulics and controls — freeing up valuable space inside your home.
Installed outside or in a garage, it arrives pre-plumbed, pre-wired and pressure tested.
No obligation, and no initial engineer visit needed to receive an indicative price. Final design and quotation are confirmed after verification.

More space inside your home
Move bulky heating equipment out of valuable internal living space and into a purpose-built Greener Pod.
Factory-built quality
Your heating hub is pre-plumbed, pre-wired and pressure tested before delivery, creating a repeatable standard rather than rebuilding the system from scratch in every home.
Faster, more predictable installation
Factory assembly removes much of the plumbing and wiring normally completed inside the property, reducing installation time, disruption and on-site variability.
Designed around your home
Heat pump, cylinder, hydraulics and controls are configured around the property and its heating and hot-water requirements.
One Pod. Configured for your home.
Every Greener Pod is built around the same factory-assembled platform and configured to suit the heating and hot-water requirements of the property.

Your recommended cylinder size is calculated during the home assessment and confirmed during final system design.
Every Greener Pod is factory assembled, pressure tested and delivered ready to connect. Manufacturer-flexible: configurable around selected Vaillant, Samsung, Grant and Ideal heat pumps — suitability depends on the property and system design. Where appropriate, modern R290 units are prioritised for their higher design flow-temperature capability.
From home to installed, in four clear steps.
1. Check your home
Answer a few questions, enter your postcode and upload a handful of photos. We use available property information, including EPC data where available, to start building your assessment.
2. See your system
See an indicative heat-pump size, Greener Pod configuration, cylinder requirement, radiator assessment, potential grant support and estimated installed price.
3. We verify the design
A Greener Pod engineer reviews the information remotely with you and confirms anything requiring further investigation.
4. Quote, grant & installation
Once the design is confirmed, you receive your final proposal. If you proceed, your installer completes the required MCS and BUS process and schedules the installation.
Electrical supply check
Upload a clear photo of your electricity meter, main fuse and consumer unit. This helps identify whether the existing electrical supply appears suitable for the proposed system.
Where further checks are flagged, your installer may need to confirm the available supply capacity with your Distribution Network Operator (DNO) or electricity network provider before installation. No definitive electrical safety judgement is made from a photo alone.
Radiator assessment
Heat pumps operate differently from traditional boilers, so radiator output forms part of the system design. Modern high-temperature-capable R290 heat pumps can provide greater design flexibility and may reduce the extent of radiator upgrades required in some properties.
Final radiator requirements depend on room-by-room heat loss, radiator output and the selected design flow temperature.
Housebuilders & developers
A standardised, repeatable low-carbon heating platform across multiple plots: factory build quality, predictable programme times, reduced internal plant space and simplified site installation.
Approved installers
Survey. Design. Configure. Quote. Order.
Approved Greener Pod partners can assess properties, configure systems, prepare customer proposals and manage Greener Pod orders through one platform. Access is invite-only.
Good to know
How long does the online assessment take?
About three minutes. You will need your postcode and a few photos of your boiler, consumer unit, electricity meter and the position where the pod would sit.
Is the price I see a fixed quote?
No. It is an indicative price based on the information you give us. Your final proposal follows remote verification and any further design work required.
Which heat pumps can Greener Pod work with?
Greener Pod is designed as a manufacturer-flexible platform and can be configured around selected heat pumps from manufacturers including Vaillant, Samsung, Grant and Ideal. The recommended unit depends on the property, heat loss, electrical supply and system design.
Where can the Greener Pod be installed?
Greener Pod can be installed externally or in a suitable internal location such as a garage. The home assessment helps identify the best position based on pipe routes, electrical supply, access and heat-pump location.
